This             sends us on an exciting adventure -- the world of space exploration... Well, not really, but almost. Mr. Sutton has put together a terrific opportunity for us all to launch our own model rockets. Hopefully, you've heard about this in your dens and have built your own rocket and its ready to TAKE FLIGHT!!!

Model rocketry can be tremendous fun for the entire family. Its a hobby that's been round for almost as long as the Space Program itself. We hope you'll be able to join us even if you don't have a rocket of your own. 

If you think you'd like to build your own rocket to bring with you, here are some suggestions:

1. Start small. There's plenty of fun packed away in small packages.

2. Get your rocket from a good supplier. Estes kits from our friends at The Tall Mouse work just great and there's usually someone at the store that can answer your questions.

3. If you need help -- ask a professional. Mr. Sutton and your Cubmaster have both been building rockets for quite some time and would love to get you started.

Rockets, engines, something to provide shade, lawn chairs, drinks (lots of 'em), lunch, smiles, and a determination to have fun, even if the "w" word happens (feared by all model rocket launchers).
