by Ken Grimes

Well this is EXCITING!!! This is the June issue of our Pack OnLine newsletter. Hosted on our own Pack Website!!! As you can see, we've made a few changes and we're well on our way of making this site the place to keep you, our members, informed. Please note we have a new URL (web site address). We made this change to help you find it more easily. Please make a note of it in your web browser by marking it in your "Favorites" folder.

Some of you have told me you're having trouble finding the website. So here it is and I've made it a permanent part of this newsletter header. The thing to remember is to NOT put www in the website address. Just type it as you see it below:

Last month we found ourselves at Holiday Skating for a fun-filled evening of roller skating and blading. Even I ventured out onto the woods for my annual exercise event.

Ian and Taylor H. were there and really tore up floor as they participated in a round of Red light Green light. Joined by Chris G., Jonathan W. and a host of others, it was a real challenge to get it right and go down the floor ONLY when they were supposed too.

We were also joined by Paul H., Clay P., Matt C. and all of the brothers "S", Cory, Josh, and Austin for a little bit of "fancy footwork", especially when Cory's mom hit the floor, literally. OUCH!!!

Christopher F. was there along with his sister Alex. Looks like she won't be putting the wheels on her feet anytime soon. She was sporting a new cast on her wrist that she got from the last time she skated. Just remember Scouts -- WEAR YOUR SAFETY GEAR!!!

We had a really good turnout and there's not enough room here to mentioned all of you. But you all did a really good job. Our hosts, the good people at holiday made several comments how pleased they were with having us there. We'd like to thank them for allowing us to work up a thirst and for their generous hospitality -- THANK YOU!!!

Next Pack Meeting:

Tuesday, June 26, 2000 at Bryant Ranch Multi-use room at 7:00. SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Theme:

June's meeting was intended to be Cross-over at Camp Russo. But due to technical difficulties at the Russo home, we will have to delay Camp Russo until next month. We'll keep you posted, through your Den leaders where we'll be and what we'll be doing -- we can always come up with something fun!!!
